Organ Recitals 

Beginning in May there will be a new summer series of Lunchtime Organ recitals.  The first is on Friday May 18th and is given by Peter Morris Director of Music, St. Peter’s Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton and Borough Organist, Walsall.  If you enjoy music do please try and attend, previous recitals have been very well received. 

Bluebells on the Ercall 

Come and see this year’s bluebellsMeet at the Roseway car park at 10.00 am on Monday morning 30th April for a gentle stroll to see the bluebells on the Ercall. 

Network at Wellington 

The next monthly meeting of Network at Wellington will be on Tuesday 8th May at 2.30 pm .The speaker will be Mrs Mavis Holt. 

Advance Announcement 

Wellington Methodist Church will be a venue for ‘The Grace Singers’ U.K tour The choir  is drawn  from  three Methodist  Churches  in Huntington  West  Virginia U.S.A. and will be performing a Christian musical called ‘Evidence of Grace’ at 6.00 pm. on Sunday 10th June 07.There will be a collection to help the choir with expenses and our own Building Fund.

Please support this important event for our church. 

Welcome to Selly Oak Twenties 

This    weekend  the  Twenties  group from Selly  Oak  Methodist  in   Birmingham will be staying  here  for  there  spring retreat.  They will be joining in our activities and helping out so please extend a warm welcome and we hope they enjoy their stay.

On Saturday 12 May at 8.30 am in All Saints Parish Hall.  The speaker will be Mike Horsnall who has been a bible smuggler in China.

Building Fund News 

The total raised through Fund Raising events is now a magnificent £87,000.

Many thanks for your continued support.

Events coming up Saturday May 19th at 7.30 a concert by ‘Of One Accord’.  They are a mixed voice group and will be singing a selection of favourite songs with audience participation.

On Saturday June 2nd a concert with the Town Band

Both events highly recommended.

Soup Lunches If you are able to provide soup or a dessert for any lunch, please sign the list. 

Women’s Network 

The Easter Offering Gifts will be dedicated at the Special Circuit  Service on Thursday, 3rd May at 2.30 pm at MADELEY FLETCHER CHURCH. Speaker will be MRS MAVIS HOLT 

We do hope that as many as possible will support this service.

Everyone is welcome.  If anyone could offer transport on this occasion, please contact Margaret Miles.

Telford & Wrekin Interfaith Group 

On Saturday 28 April from 2.00pm to 5.00pm at Progress House Stirchley Centre.

There are workshops learning about Hinduism Indian culture, Significance of Hindu use of Colour, Henna.  There will be Saris, Scarves, Jewellery, Asian Food on Sale.

Ben Nevis and Snowdon 

Gwen is seeking sponsors to raise money in aid of the Severn Hospice when she climbs Ben Nevis on 28th May and then Snowdon on 29th July.

To prove she can still do it in her 60th year!
