Churches Together - Advent Service

There is an Advent Service at Wellington Methodist Church on December 3rd at 6pm.  Please be sure you support this act of Christians worshipping together.  Refreshments will be served afterwards to provide an opportunity for fellowship with members of other churches.

Mrs Phyllis Taylor

Members of the ex New Street Choir with others in the Church are saddened by the death of another faithful member and friend Mrs Taylor. The dignity and care of the service on Friday expressed her life and faith. Like Vivienne and her family we cannot deny the sadness in our hearts, but we are happy that she has been part of our lives and is now spared the suffering of the last months. I remember her joy at ordering bulbs as she pondered where Vivienne could plant them.

Carpets

Someone who has recently moved has a need for carpets if anyone should be changing their carpets or knows of any spare please contact Carol Bryan on 417069
