Prayer for Today

Of your goodness, O God, give yourself to me,  for  you  are  sufficient for all my needs. Though I am not worthy to receive you, I cannot ask for anything less. Without you I shall always be in want. In you alone do I have all I require, now and for ever .

Pumpkin Parties

‘Pumpkin’ Parties at 53 Apley Castle (home of Tina's sister) on Saturday

October 31st. Children from 4.00 - 6.00 p.m £2.00 Adults from 7.00 until it ends £3.50.There will be food, drink games & music,  She would love to have a ‘full house’ so please do your best to come along. The house and garden will be

decorated. Dress to suit the date.

Wrexham and Shropshire Railway Company

A return trip to London from £20 (£13.20 with a railcard/£10 child fare) from Wellington Railway Station. Limited numbers available on Wrexham and Shropshire trains until Friday 27th November with special  ‘advance saver  tickets’ which must be bought in advance from Wellington Station or from the website www.wsmr.co.uk

 

Shoeboxes

Please note the suggested donation for inclusion in envelope to cover transport is now £2.50 . If you have completed your box you may bring them into church.

 

Network

Our November Network meeting will be held on Tuesday 3rd November at

2.30 p.m Mrs Edith Sutton will be talking about her experiences as a Hospital Nurse but not the present day nursing. There will be there usual Bring and Buy stall and refreshments will be served. All are Welcome to join us

 

The NETWORK coffee morning is on Saturday 31st October is for Network Funds (Mission) and the church.

Cakes and other items for the stall would be appreciated.

Volunteers needed

From time to time we need  help  with  stewarding,  providing  refreshments or  simply being a presence in the building when meetings and concerts are on. It would very much help me if I could have a list of people who I could call on to help when needed. During the next few months we have several  evening  concerts  for  outside groups and I would be grateful for some extra help.

Beetle drive

The Girls Brigade Beetle Drive has had to be rescheduled to the

17th November.

The concert is part of the girls' badgework and without your support this event will not be a success. Please do try to attend. 
There is a small admission price which will go towards Girls' Brigade funds. Adults/O.A.Ps : £1  Children: £0.50.To include refreshments.
