Prayer for Today

Let me love you, O God, with all my heart, mind and strength.

Loving you, may I ever more desire you.

Desiring you, may I ever more be more uneasy without you.

Being ever more at ease in your presence, may I become ever more like you, after the perfect image of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen

Susanna Wesley

Mid week Communion

In town for shopping or business?  Why not call at church for the mid - week

communion service every Thursday  at 9.30 am

From Rev Hallam

Your concern for me during my brief ‘unwell’ stay in hospital and subsequently at home has been very much appreciated. I am now much improved and shall be back with you all again very shortly. In the meantime thank you very much for your ‘get well’ cards, telephone calls, visits and the assurance  of your prayers. A special word of thanks to those who filled in for me when I should have been preaching.

Yours affectionately

Rex

Thank You

Kay Noble is now home after her first knee replacement operation, in the PRH. It made her stay all the easier by the visits from Church members and the calls and cards, to Denis, as to how she was fairing.

She particularly enjoyed the trip, pushed by David Corbett, to the Sunday service in the hospital chapel and to see so many Wellington Church friends there.  Thank you all, for caring.

Computer courses

We are hoping to hold some TCAT Start IT courses starting in March.  One course will follow from the taster we are currently doing.  Another will be a new course and could be for people  who  are  slightly  more  advanced and have some knowledge of working on the computer.  These courses can only run if we have a minimum number of people.

Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested.
