Alpha Course 

Introductory evening 24th September at 7.30 pm 

Is there more to life than this? 

Start with refreshments -  coffee and puddings then talk and discussion

10 week course beginning 1st October

 

Green Team - September 30th 

After the service there is a coach trip to Bull Farm in Kenly. The coach leaves at 11.45 am so bring your sandwiches to have a picnic before the farmer takes us on our walk. Expected time of return to church approximately 3.30 pm .Please remember to wear appropriate footwear.  The farm visit is free but we  are  asking £3.00 to cover the cost of the coach. Places are limited so please book your seats as soon as possible.

Harvest Festival 

The Harvest Festival will be on 7th October at 10.15 am Shirley Baker will lead an All Age Service .The church will be decorated 6th October in the morning and on Sunday fruit and fresh flowers can be brought or money in aid of Harvest Help.

The Harvest Supper will be on Tuesday 9th at 7.30 pm. 

World Church Week ….. 

Begins Sunday 14th October 

Do you have an experience of a Church in different part of the world? 

That you could share in the Sunday Service if so contact Peter.

Events during the week will have World church focus

Komera - District project to support work in Rwanda.

C.D of songs for worship available at £10 all profits to the Komera fund.  Please contact Peter.

Building Fund News 

A new list of Autumn Events is now available.  Please take one from the packet on the board.  At the moment, some of the details are a little vague so be sure to read the posters as they will give you the info you need.

On Saturday September 29th we are having a ‘Ceramics Evening’ .This will start at 7.30 pm (not 7.00 pm) as on the sheet) and will be a demonstration into the making of ceramics and a chance to buy.£2.50 adults £2.00 concessions.
