Prayer for the day
Lord, guide me in all the decisions I will face today,
large and small.
Help me to weigh the effects they will have on others;
grant me courage in those which are difficult and I would rather avoid.
Give me time to think before I act.
In all that I say or think or do this day,
inspire me with your love and lead me into your truth.

The Women's Day of Prayer at Christ Church Wellington
Friday March 6th at 2 pm
This year the Women's Day of Prayer has been prepared by the
Christian Women of Papua New Guinea.
Every year in March on the same day Christian Churches join together wherever they are in the world, to listen to the story of the lives of women and their beliefs in their own country.
It is a lovely service and amazing to think how many people are sharing and hearing the same words and songs.
In Wellington there are five churches involved in the event, taking it in turn to hold the service, it will be our church again next yea, how quickly the last four years have gone!
Please do try and come on Friday 6th March at 2 p.m It would be lovely to see more people at this very special world wide service. Every one is welcome at Christ Church.

This project already links us with the ladies group, green team and congregation through the donation of baby wool and knitted items. To those who have already contributed. Thanks
