Circuit Library 

The Circuit Library situated at Dawley Christian Centre is now open from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am –1.30 pm. A list is available of books, videos and tapes presently held there. Please use the resource which so many have offered to us.

Art Group

The Art Group will run on Tuesday 10.30 a.m - 12.30 pm and 1.30 p.m - 3.30 p.m in the Hall and caters for all levels & abilities.

The tutor will be Pauline Jones.

Cost will be £30 per half term collected at the first session.

W.E.A display of silk painting 

There is a display of the work that has been done on the Silk Painting Course in Church.

Please take a look at the beautiful Items that have been made.

 

Crèche 

As we now have several babies and toddlers amongst our church family, we are trying to start a crèche for the Under 3s on a Sunday Morning as part of our Junior Church.

If anyone would be willing to go on a rota to help, please see Sue Wilkes or Sue Clarke as soon as possible.

Saturday Coffee Mornings 

Groups to run Saturday Coffee Morning on the first Saturday of the month for the benefit of Church funds are still required for August, September, November and December. If your group can run one of these please sign up on the notice board.

We need help with serving tea and coffee especially on Thursday mornings. If you can volunteer for a session then please sign up on the board by the kitchen.

Sponsorship 

Earlier this year, my son Nick completed the 10k Manchester Run  and was sponsored in aid of The Multiple Sclerosis Society.  His final total was £419 - many thanks to those of you who helped him to reach this grand total.  He is hoping to do a half marathon in the Autumn, again for the MS Society, so I will be coming round again with a sponsor form …

Wedding 24th July 

Many of you will remember Joe, Dan, Tom and Zellah Stinton.

Zellah was untold good to her ‘ Nan’ MARJORIE BOUGHEY.

Nothing was too much trouble for her.

Now Zellah is preparing for her wedding day, and she and Lee would love to see as many of you as would like to come to their Marriage Service in our church at 1.30 p.m on Saturday 24th July - which happens to be the same date on which her brother Tom married last year!

Zellah and Lee send their love to everyone.

Diamond Wedding 

We send our congratulations to Leslie and Lillian Smith who celebrate their Diamond Wedding on Thursday 22 July

Our good wishes come with much love and with a prayer that good health will bless Leslie who has been unwell for some time.

The last of this summer’s series of organ concerts will take place on Friday 6th August with NykkÖ - Mickaël Grégoire Telford’s new organist
