Eddie Sykes and his wife Susan are currently serving as Mission Partners in the Bahamas.  Eddie will be on furlough this summer and he has agreed to talk to us at a circuit missions meeting to be held on Tuesday July 10^th at 7.30 p.m. at Madley Fletcher.  Please make sure you keep this date free in your diaries.

District Network Meeting

Wednesday March 7th 2007 - “Come and See” - “Go and Tell” 

Hadley Methodist Church was the venue for this event; we were welcomed with a cup of coffee.  The theme was to “Spread the work of Our Lord” .Prayers and rousing hymns were sung, we shared our lunchtime together and later joined a group of our choice - drama, poetry, writing as well as arts and crafts.  A memorable day ended with tea and cakes before our friendly goodbyes.

Easter Breakfast

Last year our Emmaus Crew put on a very successful Easter breakfast and we plan to repeat it this year with any funds raised going to JMA.  It will be held at 9.0 a.m. after  early communion and is open to everyone.  We do hope as many people as possible will support this.  More details will be on the notice boards.

World Church Coffee Morning

The coffee morning on Saturday 23 March will be for World Church Funds. I would be grateful for any help on the day and also with cakes/gifts etc for the Bring and Buy Stall.
