We remember particularly Pauline Thackery in hospital. Ann Hallam going
into hospital
We pray for the frail, the elderly, housebound and those in care homes
as well as those recently bereaved.
Prayer for today
Lord, teach me to find
space
even in the hubbub and
turmoil of my daily life,
to discover moments of
tranquillity
in the most unlikely of
places.
Help me to transform
the frustration of a
traffic queue,
standing at the checkout
and waiting for my turn
in the doctor’s surgery
Into an oasis of
stillness within
as I allow Christ
to be all things
and in all places
to me.
Amen

Wigan Circuit
