Prayer for
today
God makes himself known in so many ways,
In the starshine of the night
In the sunshine of days
In the voice of a friend when you pick up the phone
In a letter that comes when you’re feeling alone .
In the smile of a stranger
you happen to meet,
In a cheery “Hello” that you hear on the street
In the peace of a church
In the depth of a prayer,
God makes himself known to us ,
He’s everywhere
