Day of Prayer –Ascension day –1st May 

9.30am Communion 

Why not join us on May 1st for our Day of Prayer in the sanctuary from 9.30 am to 6.00pm?  There will be short acts of worship on the hour from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm followed by a  closing service at 5.30 pm  which we hope as many as possible will be able to attend.

Everyone is welcome.

If you are able to lead a short time of worship on the hour or be a steward for an hour, please sign up on the notice board. 

Worship Leaders’ Training Course 

To be led by John Lenton and Revd Nigel Young beginning on Monday 19th May 2008  at  7.30pm  venue  to  be  decided  ( depending  on  participants’ geographical convenience).  There will be seven sessions altogether with other dates to be arranged by those taking part. 

If you feel called to explore your gifts in leading worship please come to the church office or phone to obtain a form. 

Circuit Coffee Mornings for Rwanda Youth Project 

There will be circuit coffee mornings at both Wellington Methodist and Oakengates United Church on Saturday April 26th from 10.00 to 12.00 noon.

EASTER OFFERING - WOMEN’S NETWORK 

Many sincere thanks to ALL who donated, some very generously, to the Envelope Appeal for Easter Offering. The amount raised is £362.00 - a wonderful result, which is much appreciated for Network World Mission.

These gifts will be dedicated at the special CIRCUIT SERVICE on Tuesday April 22nd at 7.30 pm at Dawley Christian Centre.  The Speaker is the Rev. Alan Fisher, and members from various churches will be taking part.

We do hope that as many as possible will support this meeting.  If anyone is able to offer transport please contact Margaret Miles. 

Building Fund News 

On Saturday 19th April Hadley Orpheus Male Voice Choir will be performing beginning at 7.30 pm Tickets Adults £3 and Con. £2.50.

Following on from this on Saturday April 26th will be the Silent Auction opening at 7.00pm .Please see Tina if you have any items you wish to be included. 

Mid Week Communion 

There will be a mid-week communion service on Thursday 17th April at 9.30 am in the sanctuary.  Everyone is welcome. 

Traidcraft 

The new Traidcraft catalogue is now available. If you would like to borrow it to peruse household goods, jewellery, clothes and gifts please see Diane Parkin 

Men’s Breakfast 

On Saturday 26th April 2008 at All Saints Parish Hall Wellington.

Starting at 8.30am and finishing approximately at 10.30 am 

Breakfast with Mark Berry 

This will be Marks second visit and the focus will be God’s calling in his own life and for other men.

H will also no doubt give us an update on the progress of his work in the Telford area. 

A full English breakfast will be available

Ladies Club Coffee Morning 

Thank you to everyone who helped and supported us on Saturday morning, after expenses we raised £80 which will go to the running of the club e.g. Speakers expenses and towards our yearly charity.
