is organising a Day of Prayer from 4.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Friday –
Saturday 21st/22nd May at All Saints. If
anyone would like to help out by signing up for an hour or two, please let Dewi know as soon
as possible.
Anyone can drop in at
any time, but we need to ensure that there are at least two people on duty at
any one time.
Garden Party
Joan Pooler
has very kindly agreed to us holding a Garden Party at her home on
Saturday June
19th from 2.00 to 4.30.
There will be
stalls, games and refreshments.
If you can
donate anything, please let Tina know. We will be particularly grateful for
Tombola prizes, cakes and plants.

Disciple Courses
Discover the challenges
of God’s Word through DISCIPLE
There are two courses
planned to run from September 2010.
Disciple covers 70% of the Scripture over 34
weeks and is a challenging study for
those who wish to know more.
Disciple 2 looks at Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts in greater
depth over 32 weeks.
Course leaders will
include Rev Mark Sherman, Rev P.J Jackson and Mrs Denice Morgan.

special circuit service at St. Georges Methodist Church on Sunday 16th May at
6.00 p.m
The service will be
preceded by a faith tea at 5.00 p.m

This year our church raised
£303.50 for the Easter Offering Appeal and this money will be dedicated at this
service.

Creche
As we now have
several babies and toddlers amongst our church family, we are trying to start a
crèche. If anyone would be willing to go on a rota to help, please see Sue
Wilkes or Sue Clarke as soon as possible.

Betty Hedge would like to say thank you to everyone for their

Christian Aid Coffee Day
There will be
an open house at 18 Albert Road on Wednesday 30th June from 10 - 12 and 7 p.m -
9 p.m for Christian Aid.

Ida Skelton
Formally of Dawley Road is now resident at Deansfield Residential Care Home
Kynnersley. For anyone wishing to visit her it is behind Kynnersley
Church. Ida would like to come to church but needs a lift.
Photoshop for Beginners
TCAT will be offering an opportunity to
learn something about digital photography starting on Wednesday 9th
June from 2-4.00 pm for five weeks. It will include
importing digital photos to photoshop,
scanning, storing images, image sizes and resolutions, image manipulation and
retouching. Why not come and have a go? Names please as soon as possible to Barbara
Murray as there will be a limit on the number of computers available.
