Revd. Dr. Leslie Griffiths.  People who may wish to sing in the choir are being sought and a rehearsal of the hymns to be sung on the day will take place on 21st July 11 - 2 at Darlington Street further details are available in the vestry. 

WORLD CHURCH comes to MADLEY

Eddie Sykes, a mission partner in the Bahamas, will be speaking to the circuit about his work.

On Tuesday 10 July at 7.30 p.m. at Madley Fletcher

This year the Methodist Church in the Caribbean is celebrating 40 years of

autonomy so we look forward to hearing about work in this area.

Network 

A Circuit Network Barbecue, with informal entertainment, has been arranged for Tuesday, 17th July at 6.30 pm and will be held at Hadley Methodist Church.

Tickets £5 - obtainable from Margaret Miles before Tuesday 3rd July if possible. 

This event has been a happy occasion over the last few years, at Broseley Church; this year as it will be at Hadley, we look forward to having support from Wellington.  All are welcome. 

Dennis Edwards 

We are sad to report that Dennis Edwards a dear friend and devoted worker here passed away on Tuesday lunchtime. He will be greatly missed by us all. Our love and prayers go to Joan and all the family 

Bar-be-Que 

On Wednesday 11th July there is a bar-be-Que at the home of Shirley Baker from 6pm until 8 pm in aid of the Building Fund 

Ladies Club 

The Ladies Club will be going to Shirley Bakers B.B.Q on Wednesday 11th July for their Meeting together.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. 

Prayer Meeting

There will be a prayer meeting prior to Morning Worship next week in the Ministers Office at 9.45 

ORGAN RECITALS 

The next Organ Recital is Friday 13th July and   will  be    given  by   Michael  Davey  accompanied by Julia Johnson and Margaret Friar .  The   church   will be open for   light refreshments from 12.30pm the concert will start at 1.00 pm and will be of half an hour’s duration.  There will be a retiring collection in aid of the Building Fund.
