Thought for the Week

Be a light, O Lord, to my eyes, music to my ears and contentment to my heart. Be sunlight in my day, food at my table and rest to me in the night. Take into your hands my body and my soul, my freedom and my life. Let me rejoice to be about your

business, and let me live to your praise and glory, now and for ever. Amen

John Cosin 1594-1672

We will provide more details of the project and how it will operate in the next few weeks but we already have our first request:

Up to 10 sets of good quality second hand quilt covers, bedroom curtains and sheets mainly for single beds.  This is to contribute to some ongoing work with a family to return their children home from relatives and the care system – the children are a wide age range of boys and girls from 2 up to 16 years of age.
