Organ Recitals 

The first organ recital for this summer is on Friday May 18th and is given by Peter Morris Director of Music, St. Peter’s Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton and Borough Organist, Walsall.  If you enjoy music do please try and attend, previous recitals have been very well received. 

Network at Wellington 

The next monthly meeting of Network at Wellington will be on Tuesday 8th May at 2.30 pm .The speaker will be Mrs Mavis Holt.  

House Group 

The House Group is starting a new topic ‘Ten Commandments’.

Newcomers are always welcome.  

Eco - congregation 

We are planning to set up a small group to identify and prioritise our role in the impact that we have on the environment.  If you are interested in becoming a member of this group please forward your name to Elaine. 

Advance Announcement  

Wellington Methodist Church will be a venue for ‘The Grace Singers’ U.K tour The choir is drawn from three Methodist Churches in Huntington West Virginia U.S.A. and will be performing a Christian musical called ‘Evidence of Grace’ at 6.00 pm. on Sunday 10th June 07.There will be a collection to help the choir with expenses and our own Building Fund.

Building Fund News 

The total raised through Fund Raising events is now over £87,300.  We appreciate your continued help and support.  An updated events list is OUT NOW, Please take one from the pocket on the Building Fund board.

The next event will be a concert by ‘Of One Accord’ on Saturday May 19th at 7.30 pm.  This is a mixed voice choir who sing popular songs - many from the musicals.

On Saturday June 2nd there is a concert with Wellington Town Band.

On Sunday June 10th we are privileged to have a choir from America.

Advance notice of The Garden Party at Joan Poolers on Saturday June 23rd.

Award and Display evening 

The Boys and Girls Brigade would like to invite you to their Annual Award and Display evening on Tuesday 22nd May at 6pm.Please come along and join us to see what has been going on over the past year.  50p to include refreshments. 

Men's Breakfast 

On Saturday 12 May at 8.30 am in All Saints Parish Hall. The speaker will be Mike Horsnall who has been a bible smuggler in China.

Ben Nevis and Snowdon 

Gwen is seeking sponsors to raise money in aid of the Severn Hospice when she climbs Ben Nevis on 28th May and then Snowdon on 29th July.

To prove she can still do it in her 60th year!  To sponsor Gwen you can see her at Coffee morning on Saturday or someone from the Office during the week. 

GODSPELL 

Connie and Grace are taking part in a production of Godspell by the Theatre of Gifted Youth at THE PLACE Oakengates on June 23rd. If anyone is interested in going please see me as soon as possible so that I can make party booking.
