It is part of their Active Retirement Programme for anyone over 50 and it is free. If you are under 50 and would like to attend then please contact me. You are expected to have or buy your own art materials. WEA CRAFT COURSE .. SILK PAINTING

Starting on Monday 26th April from 2.00-4.00 pm there will be a craft course organised by the Workers’ Educational Association. The first five weeks will be silk painting and then there will be opportunity to continue either with silk painting or a different craft for another five weeks. This course is offered free under their Active Retirement Programme. There will be a small weekly charge for materials but this will be kept to a minimum as far as possible. We need a minimum number of 8 people and the maximum number is 15. I expect the uptake for this to be high so it will be on a first come first served basis.
