Be liberty in our life and everlasting glory at our death; through our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Mid week Communion 

In town for shopping or business?  Why not call at church for the mid - week

communion service every Thursday  at 9.30 am

 

Moneybank Plant 

Megan Slagel (who has recently moved house) has a “Moneybank”

Plant to offer. It is about one and a half to two feet high, evergreen, very pretty, and suitable for a conservatory.

Please let her or Shirley Baker know if you are interested. Donation for

Christmas Fayre.

(Sadly it does not produce money!!) 

 

Drawing and Painting 

TCAT have indicated that it might be possible to do an introductory drawing and painting course if anyone is interested.  Could you please let me know if you would like to take part in such a course and also the time of the day which would be most convenient for you (am pm or evening)?

Ladies Club 

There will be no Ladies Club this week Wednesday 5th November.

Last Saturdays coffee morning raised £112 of which £17 go to Church Funds.

Thank you to all those who supported us in any way.

 

Hand Made Cards 

To date the hand made cards that Barbara and Shirley have done has raised £1661.86 

 

Visit from Mosley Road Methodist Church 16th November 2008 

We are looking forward to welcoming Mosley Road Methodist Church.  They will be here for tea at 4.0 pm and then we will have a joint service, together with our friends from the Pentecostal Church on Tan Bank.  We do hope that as many people as possible will join us for tea and worship.  We have enjoyed their visits in the past and many of you will remember their Gospel group, Soul and spirit who made such an impression.

There is a list on the notice board by the kitchen and we would be grateful for any help you can give with food for catering.

Art Exhibition at Wellington 

The Telford and Wrekin Art Society are having an Art Exhibition in the Church from Saturday 8th November to Thursday 13th November from 10.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m.

Paintings and woodcarvings will be on display.  Entrance is free.  The

majority of the artworks will be available to buy.  (Christmas is coming!)  The Telford and Wrekin Art Society welcomes new members.  We meet at the Leegomery Community Centre on Tuesdays from 2-4 pm and

Wednesdays 7-9 pm.  During the summer we go out painting and sketching to local beauty spots on one Wednesday afternoon each month.

Building Fund News 

Please remember to look in the CHOCOHOLICS catalogue and order for Christmas.

If you are interested in helping to form a rota to push a gentleman from the Priory to Church, please see Tina.

 

Christmas Fayre - Saturday November 29th 

As you all know, this is a very important event in our calendar and all monies raised go to Church funds.  Can you help us with any donations to the stalls?

A list is on the boards which tells you what the stalls are and who you can give your donations to.

Please have a look and start looking out for anything suitable.

Coffee Morning November 8th 

We are grateful for all the help we have received in the past from churches around the circuit as we have raised funds for our building fund.  Trinity Church Newport are nearing the end of an exciting refurbishment project and the coffee morning on November 8th will go towards their fund raising efforts.  Please could you support this.  Gifts for the stall would be appreciated and also some help in the kitchen and with serving.  If you can help please get in touch with me.

Methodist Art Group in Albrighton 

From this weekend & until November 20th on Mondays & Thursdays there is an exhibition of paintings in the Methodist Wesley Hall, Albrighton.
