We remember particularly Emily Boughey and Nell Greaves both of whom were in hospital at the beginning of the week.We pray for the frail, the elderly, housebound and those in care homes as well as those recently bereaved.

We are delighted to know that Margaret Ward is now home here in Wellington.

Prayer for Today

Loving and gracious God,

Be with us throughout the hours of this day.

In the morning,

When there is newness all around

And work lies ahead,

Inspire us with your call to discipleship.

In the middle of the day, when so much still

remains to be done,

Remind us of your continuing presence.

At the end of the day when our work is over,

reassure us with your surrounding love and give us rest.

Amen

Summer Holiday Club 16th - 20th August 2010
Many thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help at this year's holiday club "Landlubbers" (especially Fizz and Buzz!!). We now have enough people to go ahead which is great news. In connection with this, we will need shoe boxes, Pringle tubes and any old bits of unwanted jewellery to use during the week. If you could save them we would be really grateful.

There will be a planning meeting on Friday 21st May at 7.30 pm at 18 Albert Road. Please try to attend if you have offered to help or are interested in helping.

Sue Clarke.
