Wesley Guild

I have been asked ‘What does the Guild do?’  As our new session begins on

5th February I thought now would be a good time to tell you.

The first Thursday of the month is always a devotional evening , a short service.  On the other weeks, after starting with a hymn and prayers, we have speakers on a wide range of subjects.  We finish with another hymn and the Grace.  We then enjoy a chat over light refreshments.

We start at 7.30, why not come and join us!

From Mary Grencis

I would like to thank everyone who has sent me cards, letters, phone calls and flowers etc on my illness.  Special thanks to Rev. Peter Clarke for his hand when I really needed it, and visits from Rev. Shirley Baker and church friends when they were allowed in the hospital.  This world of ours is in a mess.  However I’ve been shown such love and kindness from everyone these past few weeks, I know there are many many good people in it.

God bless

Mary Grencis
